How often do you or others that you know, go anywhere without your smart phone? Our Smart Phones are our life wrapped up in one device. No matter where your customers are or what they are doing, if a notification goes off on there phone, they will check it almost immediately. Think about it, how many times have you been in the line at the grocery store only to be waiting for the person checking out ahead of you to stop texting so that the checkout process will go faster? I think we are all in agreeance that reaching customers while on the go through the advancements of smart phones, etc. is a no-brainer. Not only is our phone the one thing that we don't leave home without, we normally answer or respond to mobile notifications very quickly. In fact, one study (shown below) shows that from 2011 to 2016 the number of searches on mobile phones rose from around 20 billion to almost 120 billion mobile searches for local products/services over desktop searches.
